It is such sad news but as you say tempered with the knowledge of a great life well lived. John was such a great part of all the happy years at Backwell Playhouse when our boys were younger and in the youth group. Both John and Terry were great role models and hold a special place in all our hearts. We had a really lovely time when we took John out for lunch on the 30th November. He was walking really well with just a stick and enjoyed a good lunch. I am so happy that we got to see him and will remember him fondly always. Sending much love to you and all the family .
