I am so very sorry about John. It was your neighbors, Phyllis and Gil Stock who told us your parents were coming to Canada, Tony met them at airport and the friendship carried on from there. We had such great times with your father and mother when they arrived, excursions to Niagara Falls, and a little further south into New York State, meeting other English immigrants, going to a fabulous buffet, picnics in many places. So many great times are coming to mind. Your father certainly was an amazing man, he made every effort to be sure that everything was worthwhile and interesting. To accumulate / experience the number of years he did was an amazing feat!!! Yes, your father will be truly missed---and he was such a loving father who in return truly loved his family, who were always in his thoughts and conversations. So happy that you all had such a happy 100th (and 70th) for and with him. When I went to church this morning, I said prayers and lit a candle in his memory. Loretta Blencowe, Canada.
